STEP Bahamas Committees

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS & COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE
  • Identify industry and community partners whose core values and mission align with ours, and work together to deliver high quality programming and community initiatives which target a wider audience
  • Coordinate community service and volunteer initiatives
  • Managing social media pages
  • Creation of the quarterly STEP Bahamas Newsletter
  • Facilitate the promotion of Branch events
  • Plan and execute education and skill-building workshops, webinars & lunch/learns for members
  • Sourcing of online articles or Practitioner contributions for the STEP Bahamas Newsletter
  • Responsible for the logistical planning of all branch events which have been conceptualized by the respective committees
  • Duties include but are not limited to venue sourcing, facilitation of set-up & break-down, managing vendors etc.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to attract new members
  • Coordinate Branch meetings and networking events
  • Membership administration
  • Serve as point of contact for member and prospective member inquiries
  •  Creation of physical, mental and emotional health initiatives
  • Liaise with the Professional Learning Committee and/or Membership Committee to feature health, fitness & wellness speakers/ articles
  • Liaise with the Strategic Partnerships Committee to identify charity & awareness events/ initiatives which members can support
